She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lee Hardy and Eva Penny Hardy (Blanchard); her husband Alvin Clark "Coot" Bowen; her daughter Tammy Lee Bowen; and her former husband Charles Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Clark Bowen (Lorie Smith), Brenda Gunn-Reed (Bobby Reed) and Sheila Bowen; her grandchildren, Alexandra Bowen (Bryan), Jenna Rose Gordon Hattaway, Dustin Lynn Gordon and Cindy Smith (David); and her great grandchildren, Nikki Smith, Cassie Gordon, Brandon "Bo" Gordon, Brooklyn Sturman and Madison Hattaway.
