It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary E. Barefoot of Pitts, Georgia, born in Hawkinsville, Georgia, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeral Barefoot and Rudena Cranford Barefoot; and his siblings, Terry Barefoot and Debra Barefoot Sutton. He is survived by: his nieces, Brooke Thompson (Brian) and Leah Turner (Mitch); and his great-nieces, Haven Dorman (Tyler), Ava Thompson and Delanie Turner.
