He was predeceased by: his father L. C. Hardy; and his wife Kathleen Wilkerson Hardy. He is survived by: his sons, Britt Hardy, Phillip Hardy and Christopher Hardy; his siblings, Randy Hardy (Susan), Roger Hardy (Martha Ann), Daryl Hardy (Kathy) and Donna Miller (Clyde); his grandson Phillip Hardy; and his close friend Ed Teer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
