He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Doster and Mildred Scarborough Doster; and his son Russell "Russ" Doster. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hobbs Doster of Pinehurst; his sons, Steve Doster (Gwenette) of Pinehurst and Ryan Doster (Julie) of Perry, Georgia; his brother Norman Doster (Barbara) of Norcross, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Abbey Doster of Perry, Georgia and Jack Doster of Perry, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
