He was predeceased by: his parents, C. "Shorty" Peavy, Jr. and Rosa Lee Bowen Peavy. He is survived by: his wife Jan C. Peavy of Pinehurst; and his children, Christy Moore (Scott) of Elko and Mark Peavy (Ashley) of Pinehurst.
