He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Cross and Mary Jane Ashlin Cross; his brother Jimmy Cross; and his great-niece Brooklyn Sangster. He is survived by: his wife Donna Fay Cross of Pinehurst; his children, Ashlin Cross (RoiAnn) of Vienna and Michelle C. Harrell (Clark) of Pinehurst; his sister Brenda; and his grandchildren, Jake Cross, Taylor Hall, Ashley Greene, Trey Harrell and Lauren Harrell.
