He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Cross and Mary Jane Ashlin Cross; his brother Jimmy Cross; and his great-niece Brooklyn Sangster. He is survived by: his wife Donna Fay Cross of Pinehurst; his children, Ashlin Cross (RoiAnn) of Vienna and Michelle C. Harrell (Clark) of Pinehurst; his sister Brenda; and his grandchildren, Jake Cross, Taylor Hall, Ashley Greene, Trey Harrell and Lauren Harrell.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home - Vienna (1411 E Union St, Vienna, GA 31092). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church (2675 Liberty Church Rd, Pinehurst, GA 31070). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery (2675 Liberty Church Rd, Pinehurst, GA 31070).
