He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jackson Lowery and Annie Bell Stapler Lowery; and his siblings, William Ralph Lowery, John William Lowery, Bertha Mae Rollins, Carlene Smith, Larry Joe Lowery and Jackson "Jackie" Ray Lowery.

He is survived by: his sister Lucille Degler (Ron); his niece Samantha Pung (Jack); and his daughter Annette Simmons. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to West Georgia Hospice in memory of Robert Jessie Lowery.
