It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Eugene Rogers of Pine Mountain, Georgia, who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odus Rogers and Mary Jones Rogers; his children, Harvey Lee Rogers and Tandy Jean Burdette; and his siblings, Glenn Rogers, Kenneth Rogers and Joseph Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy "Day" Blackstone Rogers; his siblings, Junior Rogers, Jane Folds, Jean Conger Sparks and Reuben "Buddy" Rogers; and his grandchildren, Devon Cole, Montana Cole, Donnie Cole, Cody Cole and River Ball. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, August Cole; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
