She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Henry Gamble and Katherine McClendon Gamble of Columbus, GA.; her husbands, J. L. "Pete" Head and Al S. Allmond; and her sister Jeanette Gamble Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory L. Head of Renton, WA and Thomas A. Head of Pine Mountain, GA; her sister Anita Gamble Myers Grieshop of Macon, GA; her grandchildren, Ashley Head Hernandez, Jeremy Head and Jennifer Head Ruiz; and her great grandchildren, Leadra McDonald Head and Christina L. Head. She is also survived by 5 nieces, 2 nephews.
