She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sargent Garner, Sr. and Elizabeth Haynes Garner of Virginia; her daughter Peggy Garner; and her brothers, John Alfred Garner and Thomas Sargent Garner, II.
She is survived by: her husband James A. Hackle; her son Timothy L. Buttrum; and her siblings, Virginia Jo Steele (Jack), Gregory F. Garner and Peter L. Garner. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the family will gather at the graveside for a time of visitation starting at 10:00 am on Saturday.
