He is survived by: his wife Cecile H. Ransom; his children, Haldane Ransom (Barbara), Marchelle Condon (Michael), Jennifer Brooks (Terrence) and Alison C. Ransom; his daughter-in-law Susan Godwin; his sister Jelline Williams (Larry); his siblings-in-law, Betty Ransom, Elizabeth Hill, Yvonne Hixson, Mildred Thomas (Robert), Lillian Robinson and Fred Hill (Lucille); his nephew Jamie Hill (Carolyn); and his close friend Curtis Bray (Josephine). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
