He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hill, Jr. and Gladys S. Gilbert; his grandson Elijah Jones; his sister Brenda Harris; and his nephews, John E. Harris and Terry L. Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Sonya Jones, Tijuana Jones, Lerhonda Jones, Aerka Jones, Carlisha Carston, Peaches Cohern, Marcus King, Gregory Carston, Marquest Carston and Marquis Simmon; his grandchildren, Jayla Jones, Demetrius Harmon, JaMarious Jones, Jaylen McCrory, Justin McCrory, Anyiah Jones, Aiden Glass, Idaasha Huff, Kendrel Partridge, Huneti Jones, Alton Satterwhite, Mariyah Satterwhite, Asia Jones, Zaquerka Jones and Jamaron Jones; his brother Benjamin Jones; his aunt Nettie Pearl Boykin; his nephew Benjamin Crowder; his nieces, Brenda Spratling (William), Glenda Leonard and Amanda Harris; and his extended family, Diane King, Angela Glass and LuLu. He is also survived by three great nieces, three great nephews, one great-great niece, three great-great nephews.
