He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Gable and Allie Mayfield Gable; and his son Richard "Rick" Gable. He is survived by: his wife Edith Evans Gable; his daughter Debra Thomas (David); his grandchildren, Lindsey Thomas (Brian Bailey), Travis Thomas (Taylor), Ross Gable and Alli Gable; his great grandchildren, Tanner Cochran, Tyler Glover, Wyatt Thomas, Ellis Gable and Palmer Gable; and his daughter-in-law Sheryl Gable.
