He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Larry Smith; and his wife Gail Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jason (Crystal Smith) of Hogansville, Justin (Amber Smith) of Hogansville, Jonathan Smith of Hogansville and Hannah Sheppard; his stepson Jonathan Paul Sheppard of Lanett; his stepfather Ronald Caldwell of Woodbury; his siblings, Rochelle Looney of Dawsonville, Timmy Smith of Punkin, TN and Michael Caldwell of Woodbury; and his close friend Tammy Green of Pine Mountain. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
