He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Franklin Walker and Zerah Kent Walker; his brother Larry Walker; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Daniel, William "Billy" Lavender and Margaret Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jill Walker; his children, Shane Walker (Wendy) of Perry, GA and Ashley Ford (Ben) of Perry, GA; his grandchildren, Gabriel Ford, Melody Ford and Aela VanDerostyne; and his siblings, Patricia Daniel, Marion Lavender, Sarah Wall (Tom), Susan Walker and Dan Walker. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel (2932 US Hwy 41, Fort Valley, GA 31030).
