He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ruth Tarpley (Hambrick); his daughter Wendy Tarpley Naylor (Josh) of England; his granddaughters, Ella and Ivy; and his sisters-in-law, Josephine Pierce of Macon, Annolene White (Greg) of Perry and Belinda Lindsey (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
