He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Hancock and Flossie Hancock; his brother Grandan; his wife Janice Hancock of Perry; his children, Dana Hancock Carpenter (Jeff) of Saint Simons Island, Jarad Hancock and Jason Hancock (Kim) of Perry; his grandchildren, Cohen Carpenter (Lexi), Heath Hancock (Maddie), Marissa Hancock, Abigail Harwood (Clay) and Hillman Hancock; his great grandchildren, Ophelia Carpenter, Eleanor Carpenter and Laramie Harwood; and his siblings, Jean Waddell (Richard), Kathy Dixon (Donnie) and Derrell Hancock. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
