With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Cuellar Zammit (Perry, Georgia), born in Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Encarnacion Cuellar and Clotilde Grande Manzano Cuellar; her husband Maurice Zammit, Sr.; her son Kenny Zammit; her brothers, Tony Cuellar, Raymond Cuellar and Junior Cuellar; and her grandson Marco Antonio Zammit.
She is survived by: her children, Kurt Zammit (Sherry Lynn) of Perry, Deborah Zammit of Perry, Mark Zammit (Sherri) of Douglasville, Paul Zammit (Debra) of Dayton, Maurice Zammit (Tatiana) of Centerville, Matthew Zammit (Marisol) of Detroit, Erich Zammit (Jill) of Perry and Edmund Zammit (Jodi) of Perry; and her sisters, Racquel Barthen and Mary Lou Cuellar. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
