She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Rayford DeMott and Mary Grace Bass; her stepchildren, Gail Marie Bennett and Russell J. Bennett; and her brother Robert S. DeMott.
She is survived by: her husband Maurice William Bennett; her children, Joseph Gandy (Kim) of Powell and Jennifer Rowe (Gary) of Byron, Georgia; her stepchildren, Ronald Allen Bennett of Massachusetts, Cheryl L. McDonald (Rick) of Rhode Island and Maurice W. Bennett, Jr. (Val) of Massachusetts; her friend Janice Fisher (Michael) of Jacksonville, Florida; and her brother Ronald A DeMott. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar First Christian Church of Perry (2100 Macon Rd, Perry, GA 31069). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
