With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurie Lee Powell Jones (Perry, Georgia), born in Blakely, Georgia, who passed away on December 18, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Powell and Mary Ann Peacock Powell; her brothers, Paul Powell and John Powell; and her husband Bobby Jones.
She is survived by: her family Ocilla; her son Robert B. Jones of Perry; and her sisters-in-law, Cathy Powell of Alexandria, VA and Joan Powell of Smyrna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
