With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Evelyn Guthrie (Perry, Georgia), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on June 13, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Hansberry and Evelyn Kelly Hansberry; her husband William H. Guthrie; and her brother Robert Hansberry. She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Guthrie, III (Vivian) of Mt. Orab and Patti Martin (Ken) of Warner Robins; her granddaughters, Bethany and Jessica Martin; her stepgrandchildren, Shawn Conner, Terry McClellan and Brian Jones; her brother Dr. William Hansberry (Alice); and her sister-in-law Val Hansberry.
