He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard E. George and Audrey Wooten George; his cousin Dianna Moore; and his pets, Bridget and Jeff.
He is survived by: his wife Christy Slade of Perry; his daughters, Kearse (Luke Ross) and Ashley (Brad McConnell); his grandchildren, Slade McConnell, Grey McConnell and Elizabeth Ann McConnell; his pet Coco; and his cousins, Dr. Theda Perdue of Chapel Hill, Dr. Bill Moore of Chattanooga and Gyle Atwood (Cheryl) of Grenville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Perry Methodist Church (1002 Carroll St, Perry, GA 31069). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
