He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Holliday and Zelda Hanson Holliday; his wife Helen Altman Holliday; and his sons, Darryl Smith and Russell Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda West (Bruce) of Kathleen, Lynn Hickman of MacClenny and Jim Holliday of Lecanto, Florida; and his daughter-in-law Gloria Smith of Warner Robins. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
