In the sacred silence of farewell, Edra is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edra's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Clementine Buckles; his children, Frankie Lester, Greg Cherry (Tonza), Cassandra Moses, Monica Buckles and Edra Buckles, Jr. (Renee); and his siblings, Jurrell Buckles, Eddye Mae Martin and Gerald Watkins (Michelle). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (4000 Russell Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Word of Deliverance Ministries, Inc. (2111 US-41, Perry, GA 31069). A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Lester Cemetery (770 GA-26, Elko, GA 31025).
