It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis R. Mayfield in Perry, Georgia, born in Lepanto, Arkansas, who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurmond Mayfield and Bobbie Jean Matthews Mayfield; and his daughter Kim Kalch. He is survived by: his pets, Abby and Sammy; his wife Lynne Mayfield; his son Randy Mayfield; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kalch, Ryan Mayfield, Tyler Mayfield and Emma Kalch; and his siblings, Kaye Harris (Ray), Garry Mayfield (Cindy), Jeannie Murphy (Frank) and Cindy Brefeld (Scott).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Centerville United Methodist Church, 600 N. Houston Lake Boulevard, Centerville, Georgia 31028.
