He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Chance and Madge Chance; and his brother Richard Chance of Millen, GA.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Chance; his son Seth Chance (Shayna) of Olympia, WA; and his grandchild Rowan Chance. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
