He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Burdette and Helen Sanders Burdette; and his brother Willie Clyde Burdette. He is survived by: his nephews, Phillip Burdette and Steven Burdette; his wife Kathy Burdette of Pendergrass; his daughters, Erica Burdette and Meghan Burdette; and his siblings, Billy O. Burdette of Pendergrass, Joyce Smith of Royston and Betty Lynch of Royston. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
