He is survived by: his wife Joan Eberhart Whiting of Pendergrass, GA; his children, Tammy W. Roberts (Tim) of Pendergrass, GA and Eddie Whiting (Laurie) of Jefferson, GA; his grandchildren, Mallory, Jon Swaney, Josh Roberts, Brenan Owens, Jarin and Madison Owens; and his siblings, Patsy Nix (Larry) of Belmont and Bill Whiting (Martha) of Winder, GA..
