He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pruitt and Lillie Mae Wright Pruitt; his daughter Ruth Aikens Pruitt; his wife Hilda Gee Pruitt; his sons, Henry and James Pruitt; his daughter-in-law Stella Pruitt; his granddaughter Tina Pruitt; his sister Dolly Stockton; and his sister-in-law Bess Pruitt.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Pruitt and Connie; his son-in-law Tom Taylor; his daughter Joyce; his son-in-law Marty Lance; his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Shannon Love; his grandchildren, Pam, Jeff Rhodes, Mark, Mike, Paige Pruitt, Stephanie McDaniel, Greg Pruitt, Karyn, Justin Gunter, Matthew, Lindsey Lance, Kody, Chelsea Love, Jacob Love and Jared Love; and his brothers, Lewis Pruitt and Enoch Pruitt. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
