Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Luther Rider of Pendergrass, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 62, on February 12, 2025. He was predeceased by: his mother Alberta Jewell Rider (Gaddis); and his granddaughter Kaybreigh Lynn Elizabeth Smith. He is survived by: his father Robert James Rider; his wife Della Marie New Rider; his children, Rachel Rider-Messineo (Joseph Messineo), Chris Rider, Linda (Rider), Scott Caylor, Tori (Zack Smith), Angela (Matthew Schwindler), Joyce Hare, Rebecca (Lynn Lambert), Emily (Jerry Roberts), Shaun (Karla Gee) and TJ Satterfield; and his siblings, Betty, Donald Thompson, Robert, Kim Rider and Phillip Rider. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel (989 Riverside Dr, Gainesville, GA 30501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
