She was predeceased by: her father Phil Scales; her sister Phyllis Scales White; her niece Greta Leigh Carver; and her mother-in-law Fran Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Thomas of Pendergrass; her stepmother Barbara Brown Scales of Commerce; her sisters, Leigh Ann Allen of Commerce and Kim Crane of Homer; her father-in-law Robert Hoyt Thomas of Pendergrass; and her brother-in-law Robin Thomas. She is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, six great-nieces, five great-nephews, one great-great-niece and one great-great-nephew.
