He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Lance and Willie Mae Funderburk; and his wife Hazel Lance. He is survived by: his children, Susan Melton (Tim) of Nicholson, GA, Betty Ann Dailey (Jeff) of Commerce, GA and Jimmy Lance of Pendergrass, GA; his grandchildren, Jennifer Martin (Scott), Richard Dailey (Brittany), Chris Lance (Lindsey), Hope Shaw (Tyler), Hunter Melton, Chad Lance (Ashley), Ashleigh Florentine (John) and Chassidy Lance; and his brother Michael Lance (Angela) of Lula, GA.. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Homes (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
