He is survived by: his son Cecil Lamar Harris of Jefferson, GA.; his granddaughter Amanda Nicole Dubois (William) of Commerce, GA.; his great grandchild Kaitlyn Michelle Black of Commerce, GA.; and his siblings, Paula Jones (Roger) of Flowery Branch, GA, Jamie Wade of Gainesville, GA., Grady Harris (Connie) of Flowery Branch, GA, Denver Harris (Kim) of Flowery Branch, GA and Larry Harris of Pendergrass, GA..
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pond Fork Baptist Church (2615 Pond Fork Church Rd, Pendergrass, GA 30567). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery (2615 Pond Fork Church Rd, Pendergrass, GA 30567).
