She was predeceased by: her parents, Windell Russell Timms, Sr. and Mary Hazel Dunaway Timms; her husband Hershel Gene Quattlebaum; her son W. Kerry Smith; and her brother Windell "Buddy" Russell Timms, Jr..

She is survived by: her son Kevin; her daughter-in-law Katrina Smith of Pembroke; her daughter Beth Smith DeAvila; her son-in-law Luis DeAvila of Burlington, NC; her brothers, Walter William Timms, Sr. of Randolph County, GA and Raymond Lewis; her sister-in-law Melissa Timms of Lee County, GA; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Smith, Ethan Smith, William Kyle DeAvila and Kaitlyn Daniele DeAvila. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
