He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Cook Greene; his daughter Irene Spann; and his siblings, Jennings Greene, Luther Greene, Reverend Joseph Greene, Reverend Harold Greene, Sr., Seaborn Greene, Lucelle Bell, Margaret Smith and Judy Smith.

He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Greene Weaver (Gerald) of Cohutta; his sister Beulah Kuntz of Brunswick; and his grandchildren, Jessica Kurina (Tom) of Tamp, FL, Leslie Frye (Ben) of Minneapolis, MN, Shannon Veselsky (Tony) of Washington, DC, Michael Spann (Tammy) of Pocahontas, AR and Brook Sirmans (Mark) of Dalton, GA. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
