With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnnie L. Powell Ward of Pembroke, Georgia, who passed away on March 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edenfield-Hooks and Ola Edenfield-Hooks; and her children, Henry "Buddy" Ambrose Powell and Mary Ann Green. She is survived by: her children, John J. Powell (Nancy L.), Terry Powell (Pam) and Nicky Powell (Kay). She is also survived by her twenty-six grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren and her thirteen great-great grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
