He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Austin Lewis and OraNell Sapp Lewis; his wife Mary Ella Miles; his sons, Daniel Mark Lewis and Michael Scott Lewis; his grandchildren, Austin Lewis (Jayce), Demerie Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Charity Lewis, Faith Norton (Conner) and Hope Robinson (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Ruth, Esther Ella Robinson, Taryn and Oliver Lewis; and also Lila Evelyn Miles (Durwood Lamont Blocker).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Flanders Powell Funeral Home (197 S College St, Pembroke, GA 31321). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Pembroke (169 Church St, Pembroke, GA 31321).
