She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oliver Bragg and Juanita Weathers Bragg; her husband Randall Iverson Newman, Sr.; her daughter Lora Alice Wilson; her stepfather Lucius "Billy" Butler; her siblings, John Bragg and Nancy Robinson; and her grandsons, Randall Iverson Newman, III and Gavin Dale Newman.
She is survived by: her son Randall Iverson "Bubba" Newman, Jr. (Crystal) of Ellabell; her siblings, Raymond "Scooter" Hansford (Linda "Woodie") of Pembroke, Ken Butler (Wendy) of Pembroke and Wanda Newman of Ellabell; her grandchildren, Courtney Wilson, Jesse Ennis, Emily Floyd, Mason Newman, Mia Newman and Ayden Wells; and her great grandchildren, Madlynn Allen, Benson Wheeler, Paisley Wheeler and Allison Wheeler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory (197 S College St, Pembroke, GA 31321). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
