She was predeceased by: her parents, Hawley Theodore Bazemore and Bessie Clanton Bazemore; her husband Robert T. Hughes; her brother Randall H. Bazemore; and her sister-in-law Jan Sasser Bazemore.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Theron Hughes; her granddaughter Savana Kay Hughes; her daughter Melissa Kay Hughes Shuman; her son-in-law Joseph David Shuman; her grandson Joseph Grant Shuman; her sister Brenda; and her brother-in-law Milton Smith. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory (197 S College St, Pembroke, GA 31321). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
