She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Shiver and Lailor Beck Shiver; her husband John Henry "Slim" Harrell, Jr.; and her children, John Wendell Harrell, Lala Jena Turner and Zula Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Dena Huss (Bill) of Camilla and Donny Harrell of Albany; and her brother Warren Gene Shiver of Camilla. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
