He is survived by: his wife Hazel Marie Hurst; his children, Michael D. Hurst (Autumn), Don Warren (Heather) and April Moxley (Don); his grandchildren, Logan, Preston and Easton; his sister Gloria Lowe (Roy); and his sister-in-law Betty Hurst. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home (176 Hand Ave W, Pelham, GA 31779). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery (1050 Harmony Rd, Meigs, GA 31765).
