With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Strickland of Pelham, Georgia, born in Woodstock, Georgia, who passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jefferson and Lassie Irene Poore Turner; her husband Roscoe Lindon Strickland; her son Jack Strickland (Suzanne); and her siblings, Warren, Lewis, Jack Turner, Irene Eubanks, Frances Hancock and Ruth Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Strickland (Suzie) of Pelham, Betty S. Palmer (Edsel) of Pelham, Sandra S. White (Alan) of Meigs and Linda S. White of Pelham; and her close friends, Debbie Cooper and Melissa Beard (The). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
