He was predeceased by: his father Leon Woodrow'Buddy'Hurst; and his brother William'Billy'Kendell Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hurst of Pelham; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Michael'Petey'Austin of Pelham; his granddaughters, Courtney Austin of Pelham and Kayla (Will Burgess); his mother Marzine Roberts Hurst Cooper of Cairo; his sister Gloria; his brother-in-law Roy Lowe; his brother Michael'Mikey'Hurst of Meigs; and his siblings-in-law, Buddy (Pam Pearson) of Opelika, AL and Nell Pritchard of Pelham.
