He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Lester and Ruby Crosby Palmer; his daughter Rhonda Yancey; and his siblings, Palmer, Sr. and Zelma Palmer Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Brinkley (Tommy) of Cairo, Dwight Palmer (Debra) of Pelham and Lesley Palmer (Sue) of Pelham; his granddaughters, Nicki Palmer and Tanya Caraway (Chris); and his children, Kristen Welch, Brad Palmer (Jennifer), Marcus Brinkley (Heather) and Nick Brinkley (Holly). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
