He is survived by: his wife Lena Davis Stewart of Pelham; his children, Stacey Stewart Whigham (Yale) of Pelham, Heidi Stewart Barbee (Ben) of Camilla and Lee Stewart (Kim) of Pelham; and his grandchildren, Frank "Tripp" Bennett, III (Amy), Hailee Stewart, Kaitlyn Penny, Christopher Penny, Cale Whigham and Zachary Whigham.
