He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Butler and Eula Ruffin Butler; and his brothers, Marvin Butler, Jack Butler and Quinton Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Jones (Ben) of Pelham, Lisa Kitchens (David) of Pelham, Wendy Gay (Jeff) of Camilla, Cindy Tucker (Bill) of Griffin and Lane Butler of Pelham; and his brothers, David Butler and Thurman Butler. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
