He is survived by: his children, Bruce Higgs (Annette) of Axson and Sandra Ursrey (Travis) of Axson; and his sister Loretta Welch of Waycross. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
