She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Taft and Minnie Spivey Taft; and her siblings, Edward Taft, Troy Taft, Donald Taft, Jean Caroline Arnold and Barbara Ann Chaney.
She is survived by: her daughter Alicia Ann Amerson (Jimmie) of Pearson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Relihan Funeral Home (164 S Main St, Pearson, GA 31642). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Satilla Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
