She is survived by: her children, Dougal Gillis, Jr. of Willacoochee, Donna Dismuke (Keith) of Douglas and Melinda Gillis Davis Moyer (Bryan) of Fernandina Beach; her brother Jimmy Brantley (Marcia) of Waresboro; and her grandchildren, Alisha Morgan (Anthony), Kayla Jaimes (Ray), Adrianna Harrell, Dana Studebaker (Jeffrey), Valerie English (Justin), Dedra Holt, Debra Moore (Corey), Charlie Gillis (Hannah) and Jake Davis (Sheena).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (341 Mount Zion Church Rd, Axson, GA 31624).
