It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Edward Mathews (Pearson, Georgia), who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. O. "Shag" and Reba Mae Outlaw Mathews; and his sister Nancy Mathews Browning. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mathews of Pearson; his children, Edward Mathews (Cindy) of Pearson and Pam Castellaw (Todd) of Manor; his sister Linda Dunn (Dennis) of Stockbridge; and his grandchildren, Ariel Parker (Nick), Kaiti Crawford (Andy), Michaela Rowe, Jacob Rowe and Jordan Mathews. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak a private visitation and graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Mathews on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 with Rev. Keith Lloyd officiating.
